YOUR PRECIOUS LITTLE ONES WILL JUST LOVE OUR CLASSES Imagination is their friend: we dive in and out of that imaginary world during drama combined with creative movement and the beginnings of structured dance.
Designed to enhance social interaction skills. Creative energy is channelled to act out exciting situations. Dance moves packaged into bite sized combinations.
What do we do? Develop tons of confidence, build self esteem and get hands on training in voice, movement and performance. Life’s all about how you present yourself to the world and early training is the key. Have fun while you learn these fundamental skills. Creative story telling, explore make believe characters, use costume and mask, learn groovy dance steps, scripts, plays and poems, act out the best children’s literature, learn to dance to your favourite music, film and screen, voice, speech, prepare show items, hone performance skills, and perform a dance and drama item in your own stage show.
UNIFORM
Children training at The Performance.net are required to wear black stretch trousers or track pants that they can actively dance in and a Performance.net Tee Shirt ($30). Children train for one hour per week. What do we get? Performing Arts Certificates are awarded to all students at the end of each year after completion of the show. The Children’s Drama and Dance Certificates are for recognition of training in Voice, Physical Theatre, Characterisation, Improvisation, Theatre, Dance and Performance.
