Our Magic Story | Pform.nz

Our Magic Story

Tracey Stretton started The Performance.net in 1992 while teaching at Kristin School on the North Shore. With strong educational credentials; Higher Teaching Diploma, Bachelor of Arts and a Post Graduate Diploma in Dance and Drama Education, Tracey's primary focus when teaching performing arts was on the individual; building self esteem and confidence. Tracey would weave her magic with this method, inspiring students to learn and grow. There were no performance training companies with the same unique teaching style and dedicated educational base - so started The Performance.net. From the onset the curriculum has been a "living document"; fresh, upbeat and relevant. Classes are a unique blend of the Arts, Tracey believes strongly in the Rudolf Laban teachings of the Actor and the Dancer being one.

Over 20 years later, The Performance.net is a dynamic, experienced and committed team lead by Tracey and husband, Michael. We have classes all over Auckland and the focus is to promote Life Skills through education creating strong leaders of the future. Whether they go on to become well known actors and dancers or simply pip their opponents in the board room, the training is invaluable.

Now our whole team of incredible tutors are so priveliged to do what they do - they get to inspire our future generation and build creativity, confidence & character by teaching dance, musical theatre, hip hop and singing. A dream job!

Our Mission: To inspire creativity, confidence & character within a global Pform family.
