DANCE TROUPES | Pform.nz

DANCE TROUPES

Description

Our troupes form part of our Confidence Project branch, designed for performers with outstanding attitude, ability, passion & determination in the performing arts.

All troupes are audition based and designed to provide our advanced performers with high-level performance experiences and opportunities.

We staff excellent dance practitioners & industry professionals in blocks of sessions during the year. The troupes will develop a repertoire of dances from genres such as Hip-Hop, Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Ballroom, Funk and Musical Theatre.

Our choreography is taken to local shows, festivals and competitions throughout the year. Highlights include Auckland's TEMPO Dance Festival, Pform's annual Confidence Project Showcase, DanceBrandz, local flashmob performances. The troupes also combine to perform a closing number at all 7 of our end of year shows at the Vodafone Events Centre and Bruce Mason Theatre.
