ELITE DANCE TROUPES | Pform.nz

ELITE DANCE TROUPES

Description

Our Elite Dance Troupes are built over an audition process and students are invited to join.

Candidates will be selected based on attitude, ability, passion and determination presented at the auditions. Each successful candidate must be willing to attend rehearsals every Saturday in Central Auckland.

Both the Elite Dance Troupes train at Wellesley Dance Studios.

Our goal for the dance troupes  is to provide our performers, who have a greater passion for the performing arts, with more experiences and opportunities in the dance & theatre worlds to lead them to a career in Dance and Performing Arts. Tracey Stretton, our Artsitic Director, oversees the Company and staffs the very best dance practitioners & industry professionals in blocks of sessions during the year. The troupes will develop a repertoire of dances from genres such as Hip-Hop, Jazz, Contemporary and Musical theatre. These will be taken to local shows & festivals throughout the year and our Elite Troupes perform in Tempo and at all 8 of our end of year shows at Vodafone Events Centre and Bruce Mason Theatre.

You may enrol into the Elite Dance Troupe if you have successfully auditioned.

Both Intermediate and Senior Troupes train at Wellesley Studios from 12.30-2.00pm every Saturday.
