Nicole Plewinski

Nicole has taken drama classes since the age of seven and at the age of eight acted as a Munchkin in the production “Wizard of Oz” at the Aotea Centre. Throughout high school, she achieved NCEA excellence in levels two and three and was the lead role “Lady Macbeth” in the play Lady Macbeth. Externally of high school, Nicole has been trained in physical theatre with Auckland Theatre Company and after high school was trained for two years through the Kacie Stetson Studio in screen acting. Nicole worked at CBRE as an Assistant Commercial Property Manager from the period of 2014 - 2016 while attempting to complete her degree, Bbs majoring in Property and Finance. Although she quickly realized, this was not the path for her and needed to come back to her love of Theatre. She believes all life experiences hold valuable lessons, working in property has taught her to understand how our societies are shaped, economically, through behavioral patterns. Nicole is now completing her degree BBS (Bachelor of Business Studies) majoring in property and minoring in expressive arts where she plans to enroll for a one-year post-grad diploma in expressive therapy leading to a Master's, clinical level in Expressive Art Therapy. Along with her experience in theatre and acting, Nicole is entering her 9th year working with children. She is ready to combine both of her deep-rooted passions to inspire, encourage and allow our student's personalities to flourish. We are just delighted to welcome her to the team and know that you will love her dynamic and expressive classes.
